THE BRIEF
Create a forecourt media campaign that educates drivers about the performance efficiency of Shell fuels.

THE STORY...
...was a none-traditional idea that educated drivers (and their passengers) about efficient travel via a fun and engaging mobile game – all with a little help from the most efficient creature on the planet.

It not only told Shell’s fuel story in a playful way - it integrate their entire brand portfolio from retail to delis to car washes into one engaging and educational experience. By completing levels as efficiently as possible and collecting shells, players earned real world rewards redeemable at Shell stations like discounted fuel, free coffees, car washes and loyalty points – all driving repeat visits and making every journey more rewarding.

This campaign was part of a strategy to help Shell future-proof its business by diversifying its offer from just fuel and retail and into content. Helping consumers transition from fossil-fuel vehicles and towards autonomous green energy travel, where they’ll have more time on their hands between each journey.
